Why this exists
Sourcing isn't tiring because of the walking.
It's the decisions. Every shelf is a small negotiation with yourself. Is this worth carrying home, did I already buy one, what did I charge Ate Marie last time, will this still be profitable after shipping. Forty items in, your judgment is gone and you start guessing.
Zen Pasabuy was built by a small group of Filipinos who travel to Japan often and run pasabuy on the side. We made it for exactly that moment, and we carry it on our own sourcing runs. You decide your rules once, at home, calmly. In the store you just type the yen price.
The part most sellers forget
The box costs money too
Most pasabuy pricing goes: shelf price × some number in your head. Then the balikbayan box gets sealed, the courier bill arrives, and the profit you thought you made is smaller than you remembered, or gone entirely.
Zen Pasabuy spreads the real costs across the items before you quote anybody. Every price you give a customer already carries its share of the following:

Nothing here is hardcoded. Know what you're holding, and who's waiting
Log a purchase as you make it: item, quantity, yen price, shop and date. The app keeps each batch separate, so when the same snack costs ¥380 in March and ¥450 in June, your profit is calculated on what you actually paid, oldest stock first. Filter by shop, search by name, or switch to a spreadsheet view when you want the whole haul on one screen.
Customer orders sit on the other side of that. Someone can reserve an item before you've even found it, and the moment matching stock arrives, their order fills itself in. Each one carries a colour so you can see, in one glance, who is still waiting on you:
That last one turned red because the yen moved after you quoted it. The app works out you need ₱44 more per piece to break even, so you find out now rather than at the end of the month.

There's no checkout here on purpose. You send payment, I confirm it myself, and I hand you your login. Usually within a day.

Before you ask
Fair questions
Is the ₱640 the price forever?
No. It's a launch discount on your first year only. After that it renews at the normal ₱800 a year. We'd rather say that plainly now than surprise you in twelve months. If you'd prefer to never think about renewals, the ₱1,500 founding seat is a one-time payment.
How does it handle balikbayan box costs?
You enter what the box and freight cost you, and the app divides that across the items going inside, so each customer's price quietly carries its own share. Change the amount whenever your courier changes rates.
Can I change the fees to match how I work?
Yes, all of them. The tiers, the shipping share, the logistics lines and your effort fee are all yours to rename, add to, remove or re-price. Nothing is fixed, and you can keep your previous setups to compare seasons.
Where does my data live?
On your own device, in your browser, not on my server. I never see your customers, your suppliers or your margins. Back it up with the export button any time; it's a single file you can import on another phone or laptop.
What happens if I don't renew?
The app stops opening after a short grace period, but your data is untouched. It was never mine to take. Export it whenever you like, before or after.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Open it in your browser and add it to your home screen if you want it to feel like an app. It works offline once you've opened it.
Can I use it on my phone and laptop?
Yes, though each device keeps its own copy since nothing goes to a server. Export from one and import on the other to move everything across.
Why isn't there a card checkout?
Because I'd rather keep the price low than hand a cut to a payment processor. GCash and Wise both work, and I confirm each one personally.
Will it keep getting updates?
It's the tool I use for my own sourcing runs, so it improves whenever my own work demands it. Founding members get every update for life.
